I went to the Flinders quartet concert at Montsalvat on Sunday. It was titled From Little Things and was a lovely mix of works. I drew two images in watercolour and ink

I built a small frame for a concept of a twig with a Bud. The resizing of the form makes it claes Oldenburg like. It is also taking the concept of paintings as thin sculpture to an extreme.
the base plate is glazed with a feel of marbled papers.

the two images are quite different and similar view across the bank.
the first has a nice feel and was like performance art with the picnickers checking it out as it progressed

the second was a struggle as it started raining. Put the water into watercolour and I had a lot of work to do to bring it into form and clarity afterwards.
