I recently had a break at a friends house at Blairgowrie, near the back beach. A group of images emerged, using watercolour and a few on Yupo paper. These are on Yupo paper, which behaves quite differently from the way sized watercolour paper does.
I liked the shape of a Cape Barren Goose at Adelaide zoo, so drew it in ink and wash.
I then worked on it in another way
and then took it somewhere else
the work in progress:
I did watercolours of the same view of Little Oberon, across norman beach in 2013 and 2015.
the interest for me is to look at the two and compare the response to the landscape forms.
