Admiral Colin – reworked

The image of Admiral Colin, done in 2010, had been hung in direct sunlight and faded as a consequence.  I was asked to retouch it and did with the result shown below:

Looking into the henhouse….

A friend has chooks so I drew them in the henhouse, scratching at the dirt..over the summer holidays. I started with a pencil sketch then added brushstrokes in watercolour to define the forms and the textures.
