Across the rooftops….the roof scape

I started work last week on two new canvasses.  The central images and the forms are based on gable ends and rooftops, with one shaped canvas abstracting the form.  The concepts are slate, terrracotta tiles and corrugated iron roofing.

I have used overpatterning extensively through  patterning colour and then overlaying masked forms.  I have taken photos showing progress and reworking of both canvasses.
