
I went for a week at the Prom in mixed weather and drew a bit:

I started with two drawings and wove them together into a single one similar to a plimpsest, which is wriing running in different directions on the same paper.

I often sketch at concerts and had a pencil in hand at some recent concerts. The images are a little shadowed, sorry, but that is the hazard of digital snaps:
I just finished this collage, reprising the image of Rosie the Riveter, for a competition for a magazine cover. The premise was to create a work reflecting 21st century women. I took the iconic 1940s image of Rosie, used to recruit women to the munitions and military manufacturing industries, and using the assemblage of Arcimboldo from the 1560’s (for a modern touch), took to magazines with scissors for images of women to build a 21st century Rosie from, The result, on a sheet of paper 84 cm by 58 is seen above, and I think works nicely.
