Looking into the henhouse….

A friend has chooks so I drew them in the henhouse, scratching at the dirt..over the summer holidays. I started with a pencil sketch then added brushstrokes in watercolour to define the forms and the textures.

The watercolour of Five Figs in my exhibition was sought after.  I had in 2006 done a small ink on canvas from it, in a4 landscape format.
